You were always a daddy’s girl. Since the day that you were born you were his whole world. Being a daddy’s girl had its perks such as him being more lenient on you when you got in trouble and along with him being wrapped around your finger. But naturally, it did have its downsides as well, especially when it came to the one thing that all fathers with daughter seems to fear. Boys. Especially when it came to dates with boys and with your father being Tony Stark, it could be fascinating as well. Tonight you were going on a date with Peter Parker, who you’ve meet actually through your dad. Peter was recently made a new Avenger, and something about him interested you very much, which is why he’s been your boyfriend for about two months now. So when he recently asked you on a date and your father heard about it, worried about what your dad would do. It’s not like he hasn’t asked you on dates before without your father knowing. Usually, when Peter would come pick you up, your mother was there to control your dad's mouth somewhat. But this night she had to leave on a business trip, and now God knows what Tony Stark will say.
The night finally came, and you finally picked the perfect outfit. A sleeveless laced top with skinny black pants and a matching purse. You heard the door open from downstairs as you were putting on your shoes and immediately thought that he was here. You quickly raced downstairs to see instead of Peter in your living room, the Avengers instead. Thor, Bruce, Steve, and of course your dad walking in with a drink in hand. All looked up at you when they heard you come down the staircase. “Oh hey Y/N, I forgot to tell you that I invited a couple of the guys over.” said Tony as he took a sip of his drink.
You made an annoyed look at him as you walked down the stairs. “You did this on purpose.” you said to him as made a fake offended look.
“Oh now, why would I do that? It wasn't because of your date with spider boy. Oh, my goodness is that tonight?” he replied sarcastically.
You sat on the sofa next to Bruce with your head in your hands as you let out a groan of frustration. Bruce gave you a sympathetic pat on your shoulder. “Do not fret on it so much, Lady Y/N. Man of iron is merely trying to make sure that the Man of Spiders is worthy enough to be your husband.” said Thor.
All eyes turned to him as well as a few strange looks. “Thor, I’m not too sure how the whole dating thing works on Asgard, but here on earth, people don’t get married after the first date. The main thing I’m worried about is if they’ll be eating eachothers faces. Trust me boys at Parker’s age have one thing on their mind. Sex.” replied Tony as you just wanted to sink inside of the couch right now.
“Daddy please stop talking. All we’re just going to the park, and that’s it.” you insisted as you stood up.
“Oh great, he’s going to pop your cherry in the park.” he replied quickly making Steve choke on his drink.
“DAD!” you yelled you seriously just wanted to crawl underneath the sofa.
Luckily Steve came in to rescue you. “Look Stark, Y/N will be okay. She knows how to handle herself and if Parker tries anything that she doesn’t want, Natasha trained her. Besides, Parker is a good kid, so don’t be worried so much.”
JARVIS then came on. “Sir Mr. Parker is at the door.”
Before Tony could react you beat him to the door. “By guys. I’ll be home around 9:00 Daddy, love you.” you said quickly closing the door behind you.
“If my understanding is correct, Tony was worried that Man of Spiders would steal her fruit?” said Thor.
It was a perfect night you and Peter were relishing every moment of it. He surprised you with a picnic under the stars. After eating the food, Peter packed, you two were in each other’s arms being happy with each other’s company. You two were playing a game of who would win. Comming up with two superheroes and debating who would win. “Okay, how about Cap vs. Ant-Man?” you said looking over to Peter for his answer.
“Captain definitely.” he replied as you gave him a look.
“You only said that because you idolize Steve. Besides what happened to your bug bro rules?” you responded to him.
He let out a laughed when your phone went off. You quickly apologized about your phone going off, which Peter said it was nothing. “Hello?” you answered naturally thinking that it was your father, but instead it was Bruce.
“Hello Y/N, just calling to warn you that Tony is about to put on the suit and come check up on you two.” he said.
You made a frustrated moan. Of course he would do that “Okay thanks, Bruce. Try to keep him home as long as you can.” you replied as you hung up the phone and turned to Peter with an annoyed look on your face.
“Your dad?” Peter asked as you nodded yes.
Peter then stood up and helped you up as you told him what your father was planning to do and then Peter came up with an idea. “How about I bring you home a bit early?” he said with a smile.
You gave him a confused look. “You know the Spiderman way,” he said with a mischievous smile.
You let a scream of joy as you and Peter were swinging through New York City. You’ve always wanted to do this. It felt like an intense roller coaster, and that was incredible. You held onto him tighter as he landed on the balcony of Stark Tower. “That was amazing!” you said in breathless from the ride.
You hugged Peter, then broke it, and you gave him a quick kiss on the lips. “I love you,” you said to him, blushing as you did.
“I know.” he said as you laugh.
“Oh my god, nice Han Solo reference.” you said as he is smiled returning the kiss pulling you closer to you.
To you, this was a perfect kiss. Under the stars, just you two in each other's arms. Not to mention a Star Wars reference, that was a bonus. Then it all came to an end when you heard the unmistakeable sound of your father’s voice. “Y/N M/N Stark! What the hell are you doing?” he almost yelled.
Both you and Peter practically jumped when he yelled. Turning to see him you see him standing in the doorway arms crossed. “Oh, um hello Mr. Stark! I was just dropping off Y/N.” Peter spat out quickly.
You could tell that he was nervous. You knew that Peter wasn’t scared of your dad, but he seemed a little intimidated by him. Especially after you two had started a relationship. Tony raised and eyebrow at Peter. “Okay then, since that’s over. I'm taking my daughter inside and tell her the many dangers of eating a spider’s face and the diseases you could get.” he replied.
You felt your face turn a bright red as you muttered a quick goodbye to Peter as you went through the door. Tony closed it behind you as you shot a glare at your father as you sat on the sofa. Bruce, Thor, and Steve had left.
“Why do hate him?” you asked.
“Look I don’t hate him. It's just he’s dating you, and I need to assert my role as a father. To scare this kid so bad that he’ll crap his little spider tidy widdies.” he replied as you rolled your eyes.
“But could at least give him a break, just a bit for me? When he comes to pick me up, Daddy. Please?” you asked giving him your best puppy eyes.
Tony sighed and looked back at you. “Okay, fine. But on Avenger business no promises, I’ll control myself.”
You got up and kissed him on the cheek. “Thank you, Daddy. I love you.” you said to him.
He hugged you and placed a kiss on your head and replied. “I love you too, sweetie.”
